Founder Denise Oglesby and her hand-selected team of skin therapists are committed to always learning, evolving and expanding their knowledge with advanced training and exploration of the latest wellness trends. We embrace a whole health approach and love educating our clients about how to incorporate natural beauty products, antioxidant-rich foods, and stress relieving self care rituals into their everyday lives.

The Beauty Bungalow is just that! An iconic 1920’s bungalow style house, which was lovingly restored to accommodate two bright treatment rooms, a curated retail shop and skincare apothecary filled with clean beauty goodies, and our sun-soaked meditation lounge surrounded by lush tropical flora. Come relax before your service. Arrive early to savor our signature beauty tea steeped with flowers and enjoy a tranquil slice of Florida history!

St. Pete Boutique Spa Seeking Front Desk/Admin Assistant (St Petersburg)

Compensation: $12.50 per hour
Employment type: part-time
Functional Role: Front Desk/Administrative Assistant

Purpose of this role: To help create a peaceful, relaxing and stellar customer experience by assisting the owner and team members in the day-to-day operational functions of the spa.

This role reports to: Owner and lead esthetician

Key Duties of this role:

Client Engagement (45% time allocation):
– The first point of contact to greet clients in an upbeat and calming way upon arrival
– Check out customers on software system and reschedule their follow up appointments
– Handle walk-in sales while estheticians are in treatment
– Answering phone and return client text messages
– Send thank you and birthday cards to clients
– Keep track of products on back order for clients and notify upon arrival

Spa Operations (40% time allocation):

*Inventory Management
– Place orders and track inventory
– Maintain inventory database
– Track back-orders for clients and notify upon arrival
– Conduct quarterly inventories

*Appointment Management
– Schedule appointments
– Confirm appointments

*Merchandising
– Display products in the retail area

*Spa Care and Maintenance
– Maintain fresh flowers and water plants
– Maintain supply of tea and client refreshments
– Coordinate cleaning and linen service
– General cleaning as necessary to ensure spa is immaculate at all times.

Team Support (15% time allocation):
– Anticipate needs and support team to keep schedule running on time
– Assist in room turnover between clients
– Run errands for supplies and events

Functional Role: Esthetician

Purpose of this role: To provide unrivaled facial treatments in Tampa Bay through a commitment to excellence that exceeds client expectations.

This role reports to: Owner and lead esthetician

Key Duties of this role:

Treatment Room | Esthetician (80% time allocation):
Build rapport with clients while providing a calming and relaxing atmosphere
Perform professional facial treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, gua sha, facial waxing, etc.
Analyze client’s skin, identify unique needs, recommend treatment program and skincare products
Explain the benefits of each treatment on our spa menu; answer client questions about treatments
Explain the benefits of and sell skincare products
Apply and recommend makeup for clients
Operations (15% time allocation):
Updating client treatment records
Maintain detailed appointment notes on every client
Make record of home care recommendations and samples given
Identify clients likes and dislikes
Appointment Management
Regularly view your appointment calendar and be responsible for always knowing your schedule
Arrive early with ample time to completely set up treatment room and be dressed in uniform before first client arrives
Spa Care and Maintenance
Maintain sparkling clean treatment room in accordance with Florida state sanitation laws and guidelines
Regularly check on treatment room inventory and notify management when supplies are low
General light cleaning and restocking of common areas that need attention such as the restroom, lounge, front desk, etc.
Events | Community Outreach (5% time allocation):
Participate in monthly events, workshops, and pop-ups
Network and market to attain new clients
